"I really appreciate everything that you are doing for my family and me. I know that I tend to be a little high strung and easily stressed out so your confidence and self-assuredness definitely helps me a lot! Thank you so much."

"Cori is an incredible person and friend. You can count on her for an ethical and honest perspective. I wish more than anything that I could of had her as a resource when I was in school and applying for Ivy League schools (and then paying for them). You can't go wrong with meeting with her. She is truly focused on helping kids get into college and parents figure out how to pay for it. I'm a HUGE fan."
Andrea Freel, St. Mary's HS, Alumni
"Thank you so much Cori for your help! I hope I have what it takes to take on GSIS, ROTC, and Chinese... whew. It's so fascinating to me though. Haha. We'll get back to you when we learn more after visiting U of Portland and George Fox.
Ryken Robbins, Cascade Christian HS, Student

"We are certainly satisfied with the Yale offer. I think we were able to generate some level of trust with the lady at Yale over time and she seems to have been an advocate for Nicole during the process. Thanks for your help during the last year. This is the first year in four that I have been able to get Maria's papers in on time and hopefully Scripps will make a decent offer. I wish I had known 6 or 8 years ago what I know now. For people with complicated and unusual financial situations like us, it is too late to start getting your ducks in a row for the college financial aid process when your kids are already applying to schools. Best wishes!"
Larry Martin, St. Mary's HS, Parent
"When our son was a junior in high school we attended one of Cori's informative seminars. Afterwards we made an appointment to find out more about our circumstances and what her ideas would be for our family. Cori led us through many aspects we never would have considered, such as college searches, communicating with special interest contacts, visiting colleges, early application, grants, scholarships, FAFSA, and the much needed financial consultation. After Cori's help we were able to put our son in a college we would not have entertained because of cost. Above and beyond, she is a delightful person to work with. We have never had a request not fulfilled by competence and calm cheerfulness. Our family's experience is two thumbs up for Cori Murphy, The College Authority.
Rich and Ilene Stanfield, Phoenix HS, Parents
"As a full time CFP and volunteer admissions coordinator for West Point, I found this seminar to be invaluable. I've also signed up with Cori Murphy to use the expertise she and the "My College Authority team" bring to the table in finding the right college for you and your student, as well as how to pay for it while maximizing scholarships and student aid packages. I have a senior at SMHS who wants to major in Instrumental Jazz Performance. The value my wife and I, as well as our son, have received has been phenomenal. I cannot recommend working with Cori enough."

Written to a prospective parent on our behalf of TCA:
Jen, I too am a single parent who started attending college night etc. that the H.S. put on every year, overwhelming, confusing and a little scary to say the least. I had the opportunity to listen to Cori the last two years but wasn't smart enough to sign up then, to be honest I figured the cost of what they were offering had to be cost prohibitive. This year Tayler (my daughter) senior year I felt like I was behind the eight ball and didn't want to chance my daughter's future regarding her education so I decided to contact Cori.
I don't know where to begin, Cori and the College Authority jumped right in, it was and has been one of the most calming and reassuring endeavors I've ever been associated with. Cori immediately led me down the right path and cleared up many questions I had and answered many questions I had been laboring over. Their approach is professional, straightforward and non-aggressive, the results were nothing short of helpful to amazing. I again cannot begin to quantify the value provided to me, my daughter and her future college plans, from a monetary standpoint I feel like this is probably one of the best investments I have made in my life, I was able to realize / save my investment almost immediately by following the advice of Cori and the College Authority team. If I could sum my experience up in a short description I would have to say "It's a no brainer" I wish I had done what you are doing and ask questions with two years time ahead of me, if folks would listen to Cori and the team and follow the process I think they will soon realize this is a prescription for success and piece of mind in putting the pieces of the puzzle together from choosing the right school to clarifying all of the financial components.
Bill Harrington, South Medford HS, Parent
"College selection and planning is a difficult process. Cori provided us with the guidance, the confidence and the knowledge to make the best possible choices for our son. She was readily available to answer any questions that came up in the process. I am certain that she has saved us thousands of dollars and considerable grief and I would highly recommend her to anyone who plans on sending their child off to college in the near future."

"Thank you so much for all of your dedicated help. For you, it must be like being a mom to these students, albeit only for 1 year, but still, you played a big part in this process. I was overwhelmed because the financial expectations changed midstream, but you were there to guide us. I share you and your business with anyone who will listen, so get ready for this next year! Many thanks, Lonna.
Lonna Wood, St. Mary's HS, Parent

"In a 35 year career in higher education administration, including stints as academic dean, 16 years as a college president, and five years as the Executive Director of a 19-college state system, I have met very few people who equal Cori Murphy of the College Authority in knowledge about the obstacles to getting into college and where to find the resources to do it. I have met none who bring as much energy and dedication to helping collegiate prospects find their way. I recommend her without reservations to parents of the college-bound."
