The College Authority works with families of all income levels and students
of all academic achievements.
Our clients are families with aspirations of their students attending and
graduating from college, but are concerned about paying for it.
Client Profile
Our families typically share many of the characteristics:
- High expectations of the Student – Just going off
to college isn’t good enough. The student’s pursuit of a degree,
balanced with a roadmap for what they want to do with that degree speaks for
itself.
- High expectations of the College – On average only
1 in 4 students graduate in four years or “on-time.” The college’s
commitment to graduating students “on-time” is required to ensure
our student’s success and help keep costs down.
- High expectations of the Parent – On average 50% of
students drop out after their 2nd year of college due to financial problems. The
parents we work with are committed to finding solutions to pay for college without
going broke.
- Commitment to sustainable solutions – Families understand
that financing college costs year after year only leads to long term financial
and retirement planning problems that are not solutions at all.
